In a world where six billion Buddhas are pretending not to be, can one blame the Buddha-nature forgetting Joe Biden for his political transgression? A politician should never tell the truth.
“Mark my words,” said the Vice Presidential nominee for the Democratic Party at a Seattle fundraiser event on 19 October, “It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama. The world is looking. We’re going to have an international crisis to test the mettle of this guy. I guarantee you it’s going to happen.”
Biden trespassed into politically incorrect realms that Obama has brilliantly sidestepped during his campaign. He knows, like any potentially great president knows, that people do not vote into office raw and unvarnished truth, or cost, or consequence. They vote for dream makers, hope purveyors. Voting is an act of faith over fact. I know most of you won’t accept this fly landing on and disturbing the sleeping nose of dream. To those who are awakening from a somnambulistic life, you begin to understand what a good fly an awakening and pesky awareness is.
Obama is the man who would be the direct savior of 300 million of those wool-gathering Buddha-Christ-forgetting beings programmed to call themselves “Americans.” They want to dream of change they can believe in. Skip the details. They don’t want to wake up to a cold splash in the face of reality, and if you bucket fling it at them do not expect to win their Pavlovian poll for a position of power over them. You must promise them any hope, but give them reality only after ballots of unconscious Buddhas bring into your hands the power to make them change.
Obama will bring a surprising amount of uncomfortable reality to the American people after the “honeymoon” national election is finally over. After the vows of votes on 4 November are delivered: With this “ring” of victory I, Obama, thee wed, the American people, to love them, comfort them, honor and keep them, in economic sickness and in health care promises, and forsaking all others, be faithful unto them as long as we both shall dream.
Barack Obama has let his mask of hope make truth inscrutable. He must! Because Buddha’s in the darkness will not tolerate saviors who understand salvation is only in “self” awareness. Anyway, too much raw truth would undermine ambition’s dream, to be the commander-in-chief suitor of the American Dream seduced. Obama is a Democratic Party’s great American Dreamer. He is their answer to Ronald Reagan. History repeats itself, often in reverse mirror image to the past, when the people of the world live in dreams rather than reality. From a Texan Democrat to a Texan Republican getting us in Vietnam-style messes, we now move to a Democratic Reaganesque dream charmer to lead the people in whistling while they hope, stumbling down a path passing through the mounting darkness of a new and uncertain era.
Biden, the political best man at the wedding, broke the dream spell in a moment of unguarded reality, and mentioned a truth about international crisis coming soon to test the dreams of Obama and his American betrothed.
The astrological prophecies of Nostradamus might tell us when and who will test the new president in a crisis. The source may not be an enemy of America but its closest ally in the Middle East.
In Century 6 Quatrain 24, Nostradamus said:
Mars and the scepter (of Jupiter) will meet in conjunction,
A calamitous war under Cancer:
A short time afterward a new king will be anointed,
Who will bring peace to the earth for a long time.
In my book MABUS, I look at quatrains that might define that new king as a messianic leader, perhaps America’s next president, that describe him as a “black king.” This might be intended literally to describe that king’s ethnicity. As you’ll read in the book, this new black king will defeat and destroy al-Qaeda and its leader, Usama bin Laden, a chief candidate for Nostradamus’ Antichrist.
I have been writing for seven years-and-counting my prophetic view that this “king” is a future American president who would be elected in 2008, the reason being that the next Mars in Jupiter conjunction mentioned in line one takes place in February 2009, a short time after the next Inauguration Day on 20 January 2009.
The calamitous war under Cancer, means under that superpower ruled by Cancer in astrology — America. It might allude to President Obama being burdened with Cancerian-born outgoing President Bush’ calamitously directed Middle Eastern wars, that include fronts in Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan and a new front of conflict lurking with Iran. Bush’s “war” becomes Obama’s “war.”
I predict his first international crisis may come as soon as early spring. Not because Iran will cause it. Not because progress in Iraq will falter, indeed Iraq will continue to improve. It won’t come from al-Qaeda terrorist attacks on the US homeland. It won’t come from US forces invading the tribal autonomous provinces of Pakistan, unraveling and radicalizing that country. The source of crisis is from one man who would be, and will be, the next Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu.
Tzipi Livni, the leader of Kadima Party, has not been able to forge a coalition government. She will officially declare to the Israeli President Simon Perez that emergency national elections should be held as soon as possible. The elections will bring a new government into power in February or early March 2009. Netanyahu and his right-wing Likud Party will win in a landslide.
Netanyahu also is a Buddha who has forgotten himself, and committed a political faux pas. He told the truth, openly, a few years ago but now is cagy enough to skirt the issue with power so close to his grasp. Netanyahu made it quite clear that one of his first acts as prime minister of Israel would be to “bomb Iran.”
It will be up to President Obama to use US influence and all his negotiating skills to be, as I predict he will be, a good but critical and hard-loving friend of Israel. Israeli hawks know this well. That is why they are so desperate to act and hobble Iran’s nuclear program before a new and far more skeptical president about Israeli foreign policy finds his footing in the Oval Office. Unlike his predecessor, Obama will not automatically make US foreign policy a blindly faith based adjunct of Israeli foreign policy. He will make it privately clear to the new Israeli Prime Minister that a new president is in the White House that will not support unilateral military actions. If Obama is convincing, there will not be a military strike on Iran this coming spring.
If the above quatrain is about Obama, then he will find a way to peace in the Middle East; however, such a peace will not happen if American foreign policy continues to uphold double standards. If Iran cannot have even one atomic weapon, neither can Israel possess 200 to 500 of them.
When the playing field of negotiated peace is fair, then perhaps this new king will bring Nostradamus’ promise of peace on earth for a long time.
