Friends,
This weekend celebrates the death and resurrection of the catalyst of the most influential mainstream religion of the now closing Piscean Age. As 2009 is the first full year of the new Aquarian Age, I thought this first Easter of the next 20-century epoch would be a good time to share insights more in spirit with the next great religious evolution to come transcending Christ and Christianity. That future religion will return humanity back to a healthy relationship with the natural in life. We move forward away from the Piscean times of Jesus, who said, “God is love.” In the Aquarian Age prepare for a future more in harmony with what Osho predicted: “Love is God.”
Taran passes to us reflections that to me are the essence of the seed, ever ready to sprout in us, called the New Human — the same being foreseen flowering in the future germinates in us today, ever ready to give birth to that celebrating future.
She is commenting on reflections I had as a child. You can find these in my An Idiot’s Autobiography.
TARAN:
I too found great comfort in nature as a child. I have a sibling who claims to have never been happy as a child. I asked her, “Don’t you remember the sun and the sky? The way the pines smelled, the thickness of the grape leaves wrapped around the clothesline posts and the lake with all the minnows nibbling at your toes? She didn’t. I wondered why those things didn’t mean anything to her. It was everything to me. It saved me.
HOGUE:
Yes, Taran,
These are the things most simple and most sacred. To retain this “inno”-sence keeps the thread of consciousness and humanity in our lives. Without it, we become ghosts haunting our bodies in life.
TARAN:
I work in the mental health profession and I believe that nature is a powerful therapeutic tool for all…
HOGUE:
It is! One of the reasons I can do this intense work with prophecy is that I chose to live in one of the most natural and idyllic villages in the islands of Puget Sound. I need only step out of my home office to celebrate the humming birds, the songs of cows, the prance of the spring lambs dancing and the slow and shifting lines of pines doing a windy line dance.
TARAN:
I also believe when Adam and Eve had covered with fig leaves they were distinguishing themselves from nature. It was the first barrier man had wedged between him and nature.
HOGUE:
Yes. Judeo-Christian dogma makes a split with the natural. It is unnatural.
TARAN:
I think this separation from nature marked the beginning of the end of Eden. I wonder if god in his great wisdom knew that this separation would inevitably grow wider and wider.
HOGUE:
God didn’t write the Bible, it was miswritten and misread by people. Same can be said about all the other religions and scriptures.
True religiousness will dawn on this planet when the mind-projected religions of unconscious, unnatural humanity are discarded.
TARAN:
I also wonder if god knew that the further away from nature man would become, the more likely he would be to abuse it.
HOGUE:
God knows it. Man in unconsciousness has forgotten. The root to the word “sin” is “to forget.”
TARAN:
And through time the greater this abuse would be. I believe we all need to get back to Eden. We need to remove those barriers. I am not suggesting that we all go nude. But with our imaginations, we can imagine how our clothing separates us from nature. If we can understand this (ok, I guess it would be worth experimenting skinny-dipping at night somewhere in a secluded lake, for those who can’t quite grasp it).
HOGUE:
There is nothing wrong with nudity. God made us nude. The unnatural mind of man makes nudity wrong for perverse projecting. One can go nude and should, however, one must be aware to do this safe from the world of unnatural humanity.
TARAN:
I think if these basic things can be understood, then our lives will be enriched profoundly. Whew! There it is. Talk to me John. I enjoy your work.
HOGUE:
Thanks for your letter, Taran. Happy Easter Holiday weekend to you and to all.
John Hogue
